About

From backend systems to AI backends

My focus is Agentic AI orchestration: designing workflows where specialised agents retrieve knowledge, reason over context, and hand work to the right service.

I bring production backend discipline to that work. Building identity, payroll, insurance, logistics, and healthcare systems taught me to validate high-stakes data carefully, debug patiently, and design APIs that remain dependable under real use.

Today I combine Python, LangChain, FastAPI, RAG, and vector databases with a strong Java and API foundation to build practical AI backends rather than isolated demos.

Agentic AI Orchestrator

Problem
Document retrieval needs more than keyword matching: agents must find relevant context, coordinate tasks, and return grounded answers through a usable service.
What I built
  • Designed a multi-agent workflow with LangChain to coordinate retrieval and response tasks.
  • Built a RAG pipeline that indexes documents in ChromaDB and retrieves relevant context for each query.
  • Exposed the orchestration workflow through a FastAPI backend.
  • Containerised the service with Docker for repeatable deployment.

Problem
Enrolment and record services for the world’s largest biometric ID system, serving 1.4 billion citizens.
What I built
  • Built and maintained enrolment REST APIs as a Core Engineering Group member.
  • Wrote data validation logic for biometric and demographic records.

How I work

  • Careful validation on high-stakes data — one bad record can affect a great many people.
  • Patient debugging: reproduce it, isolate it, fix the cause rather than the symptom.
  • Honest about what I’m still learning, and deliberate about closing the gap.
  • Backend discipline first — clear APIs, tested logic, and deployments that don’t surprise anyone.
